THE DRURY COMMUNITY LIBRARY
Situated on the reserve behind the Drury shops and adjacent to the
War memorial (the flag is always flying), Community Hall and Rugby Club,
the Drury Library has a fine collection of hundreds of books - mostly fiction.
We also have War History and biographies, Sports biographies,
Health , Crafts, Gardening and other reference.
An extensive Children's section also.
The collection is kept up-to-date with regular purchases and
accepts donations of good books.
We have just purchased new shelving to keep up with the
ballooning stock with more to come later in the year.
The New Zealand collection features both fiction and non-fiction
with well-known writers.
Membership is free and open to all - not just Drury residents.
There is no charge to borrow books. No restriction on how many at
any one time. Three weeks reading period with extensions if
needed.
There is ample, easy parking and wheelchair access.
Do your shopping, go to the hairdresser, buy a Lotto ticket,
purchase your meat from the butcher, have a coffee and then stroll
down to the library to return your books and select some more.
